club development center (cdc)
The Club Development Center (CDC)
is a training program
for our young players
aged 9 to 12
It's designed to match the Canadian Soccer Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) program. The CDC is overseen by our technical department heads and runs for 40 weeks, all year.
Between the ages of 9 and 12, there are no longer regular teams, except for in recreational soccer. Instead, our players in the CDC are put into a pool. For example, if we have 30 girls in our F10 CDC, they will be divided into 2 groups. These groups will take turns playing in the regional LSL summer league. The groups can be changed from week to week or month to month, depending on how the players are doing and what they need.
