Lakeshore referees collaborate with coaches and players to enhance the game experience, ensuring safety and smooth running.

Matches feature one main referee, occasionally with two assistants and a potential fourth official. Referees exhibit professionalism and sport respect; their rulings uphold the game's rules.

requirements:

  • Must be at least 15 years old by December 31st of the current season.

  • Should have a basic understanding of the rules of the game.

  • Need to be in good physical condition.

  • Must be bilingual.

  • Should view refereeing as a serious job that requires discipline, confidence, independence, and hard work.

  1. Making sure the rules are followed.

  2. Working with the assistant referees and fourth official.

  3. Checking that the ball and players' equipment meet the requirements.

  4. Keeping track of time and the match events.

  5. Making sure any bleeding players leave the field until they're okay to return.

  6. Giving the appropriate punishment for multiple offenses.

  7. Trusting the assistant referees' advice on incidents they saw.

  8. Keeping unauthorized people off the field.

  9. Restarting the match after a stoppage.

  10. Giving a match report to the authorities, including disciplinary actions, substitutions, and other incidents that happened during the match.
