The Danone Nations Cup (DNC) is back and coming to Quebec and Montreal on May 5th, 6th & 7th, 2017.  As I am sure you are aware the DNC has been operating since 2001 in Canada having seen such players as Junior Hoilett (QPR), Ashton Morgan (Toronto FC), Maxime Crepeau (Montreal Impact) as well as Marie Levasseur (CWNT) wear the uniform and represent Canada in this prestigious tournament for 12 years olds.  The Tournament has taken place all over the world including South Africa, Brazil, Spain with the 2017 edition heading to New York city.  New for 2017 is the creation of a girls tournament as well.  Canada will continue to field a team in the 32 team boys tournament and will also join the 6 team girls tournament.  This is very exciting news!  It is also very interesting to note that 3 of the 4 girls who played in the DNC Canadian final last year are presently taking part in the U15 National camp.
